9. Abstract Floral Meadows
If you love the idea of floral art but struggle with painting realistic petals and leaves, an abstract floral meadow is the perfect solution. Start by painting a soft, vertical gradient background, transitioning from a light sky blue at the top to a deep, grassy green at the bottom. While the paint is still slightly wet, you can use a dry brush to softly blend the transition, creating a hazy, dreamlike atmosphere.
Next, instead of painting detailed flowers, you will use your fingertips, cotton swabs, or the round end of a paintbrush to dab vibrant spots of pink, purple, yellow, and red paint across the lower half of the canvas. By layering these colorful dots and letting some overlap, you create the impression of a wild, blooming meadow stretching into the distance.
