17. The Sub-Zero Polar Botanical Igloo
Set amidst the blinding blizzards of a Deep Frozen Ocean or Ice Spikes biome, the Sub-Zero Polar Botanical Igloo acts as an insulated ark preserving warmth and life. The exterior is constructed from Packed Ice, Blue Ice, Quartz, and clear glass, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the surrounding icy wastes. Outside, freezing winds howl, but inside, a hyper-efficient geothermal heating system creates a tropical paradise.
The interior features thermal hot springs framed by Smooth Basalt and Magma blocks, generating steam particles beneath lush tropical vegetation. Jungle Palms, Cocoa Pods, Big Dripleaves, and Flowering Hibiscus (using Pink Petals and Coral) thrive around the steaming pools. Players can create intricate thermal pipework running along the frozen glass walls using Copper Lightning Rods and Iron Bars, emphasizing the high-stakes survival theme of maintaining warmth in a frozen world.
