8. Japanese Zen Screen Den
Inspired by traditional Japanese interior philosophy, the Japanese Zen Screen Den prioritizes harmony, natural elements, and profound silence. The room is lined with dark-stained cedar slats over black acoustic felt, offering master-class acoustic damping alongside a rich, grounding aesthetic. Traditional tatami mats cover the floor, overlaid with low-profile floor chairs (Zaisu) featuring thick memory foam cushions for ergonomic comfort. Diffused lighting panels reminiscent of classic Shoji screens line the side walls, providing soft, shadowless illumination that dims gracefully at the touch of a button. The projector is neatly integrated into a custom wooden soffit overhead, casting brilliant high-contrast imagery onto an acoustically transparent screen that hides the front channel speakers for a pure, distraction-free environment.
