11. Emerald Library Cinema Alcove
Combine the quiet magic of a private library with the high-tech excitement of a home theater in the Emerald Library Cinema Alcove. Floor-to-ceiling built-in bookshelves painted a rich, deep emerald green frame the perimeter of the room, packed with books, ambient decor, and hidden acoustic dampening blocks behind decorative book spines. A motorized drop-down projection screen is hidden invisibly within the top molding of the central bookshelf, descending smoothly over the display area at movie time. Rich tufted leather armchairs or a small Chesterfield sofa offer sophisticated seating, illuminated by adjustable brass reading lamps that double as low-level theater aisle lighting during screenings.
