4. T-shirt Tote Bags

What you’ll need:

  • Old T-shirt
  • Scissors
  • Optional: Fabric markers or paint

Instructions:

  1. Lay the t-shirt flat and cut off the sleeves and neckline to create bag handles.
  2. Cut the bottom hem off the shirt.
  3. Turn the shirt inside out and tie the bottom hem in a knot or sew it together for added strength.
  4. You can personalize your tote bag by decorating it with fabric markers or paint.
