16. The Coastal Mangrove & Mud Glasshouse

16
Set along a tropical shoreline or swamp biome, the Coastal Mangrove & Mud Glasshouse blends sturdy mangrove roots, packed mud, and warm glass to create a unique water-bound conservatory. Built partially on stilts over warm coastal waters, this design embraces moisture, lush greenery, and seaside serenity.

Twisting mangrove roots penetrate the interior floor, creating natural arches and climbing frames for blossoming vines and moss. Small water channels run directly through the glasshouse, allowing lily pads and sea pickles to brighten the aquatic environment beneath the flower beds. Bee nests are secured into hollow mangrove logs, while warm sunset light reflects off the surrounding water and glass walls, making it an incredibly calming coastal refuge.
