7. The Chunky Log Cabin Style Bench
For a porch that embraces the rugged beauty of the great outdoors, a chunky log cabin style bench is unmatched. Constructed from half-round logs for the seat and full round logs for the legs and backrest, this bench looks as though it was hand-carved right out of the surrounding forest. It is the ultimate expression of rustic warmth. This style is perfect for mountain homes, lakeside cabins, or any porch where you want to emphasize a deep connection to nature. Accentuate its rustic appeal by placing a pair of tall, distressed bronze lanterns on either side and tossing a faux-fur throw blanket over the seat for those chilly autumn evenings.
