7. Swinging Feeder
Attach the feeder to a suspended chain or rope so it swings freely. Birds can perch easily, but squirrels find the instability difficult to handle. A polished wooden base or bright acrylic elements will make it a playful, eye-catching focal point.
Why it works: Squirrels lack the balance of small birds. The motion deters them from lingering while still being safe and inviting for birds.
